By far my best MOD yet. This is going to cost me a small fortune in gas B/C I can't keep of full throttle. The sound is intoxicating.

I opted to delete the secondary cats ( I'm assuming that's what it is). I did the same type of secondary cat delete with my MB CLK Black Series and it improved the sound.

Great install pics, much appreciated feedback! Post some pictures of the truck too please... got any soundclips?

Oh yeah, just keep your foot in the throttle as long as you can, do what makes you happy! haha

Was this just the exhaust or full headers and exhaust?

Not to hijack the thread, but:

Since Paul at SW has replied, I'm ordering the whole system here (if my shop hasn't already) and wondering the necessity of jet hot coating, any issues with fault codes, or additional requirements for an aftermarket tune after headers are installed. TIA!

Although its not a necessary to coat the headers, think of it as an additional performance option. Since the headers are coated on the inside and outside, they reduce the underhood temperature and improve scavenging of exhaust gases. Reducing the temperature means lower intake temperature that translates to extra HP and better throttle response (less pedal effort). Improved scavenging allows the exhaust gasses to move as quickly as possible. Since our material is 304L, the coating is not for corrosion resistance but purely performance and sexy good looks!
