Hey guys, there have been a lot of really nice looking trucks in this thread. Outside of the one A.R.E. LSX Tonneau Cover (Thanks IRONMAN!), most of you have gone with the BAKflip or similar type covers. Just curious what the decision making was behind those purchase, ease of installation, look and style, utilization, etc? We just want to make sure our offerings line up with what Raptor owners want!

Thanks, Andy

I went with the bakflip because it's a tri-fold hard cover, so I had the security of a hard cover, no sagging like soft covers, but not restricted with overhead room like a full fiberglass tonneau. I've got a hard tonneau on my HD truck and it always sucked hauling something deeper than the depth of the bed. The bakflip is great because usually 2 panels open and I can fit most anything I need in the bed. I can open all 3 for really big stuf, and I can fold it up and take it off myself and store it in the corner too if I need to.

I went with the Retrax One. I like the fact that it can locked in ANY position.

Also for ease of use and keeps cargo completely dry.

Customer service is second to none also.

I got a Retrax pro and it leaks like a sive. Maybe a cap? I notice a few of them and it's looking better and better

Might be something misaligned or loose. I have a Retrax Pro and have gone through flat out monsoon downpours here in AZ, no leaks at all. (Yes, we call them monsoons, don't get me started... :whymewhyme:)

Just heard back from Retrax.

WOW!!!! is all I have to say!

Told them about my problem and they told me "that shouldn't be happening."

Now if I stopped there you'd just say "typical, the company got there money and **** the little guy" But I was pleasantly surprised.

They're sending me a replacement cover right out.

Never had I had a company take care of me like that.

Feeling all warm and fuzzy.

:sunot:
