As we all know the stockers suck. What is a good bulb to go with other than HIDS. I plan on getting some retrofit in the future. But for know I just want the brightest replacements I can get. Also hate the brownish look of the stock ones compared to the D2s when they are both on together. So Be great if the new bulbs were a little whiter in color.

I ran Silverstar Ultras before I got my morimoto 50w 6000k hid system. They are definitely an improvement over stock!

I'm running the Piaa Xtreme White bulbs. I haven't had any experience with the silver stars, but the Piaas remove quite a bit of the yellowish tones and have a great white light to them!

Either brand, they are way better than the stock ones!

I am running Silverstars in my vehicles as well. I will also say this, I had a company send me a full set of their replacement bulbs for testing. They offer replacement bulbs that have the different colors similar to HID's. When I put them in the wife's vehicle, although the color looked nice when looking at the front of the vehicle, the light output SUCKED. They WAY worse than the factory bulbs. So, if you run across the site linked below, I personally wouldn't waste my money or time with them.

I am just putting this out there as sort of a "Public Service Announcement"......
