I've been lurking for a month and half or so now and decided it was time to introduce myself.
I'm 31 and live in northeast South Dakota. After a week or two of heavy research here I placed my order for a loaded 2013 Black SCAB on November 5th! As of two weeks ago I had a VIN, a build date of December 3rd, and ETA of the 17th. Here's hoping!
Anyway, already planning my build, but where to begin?
Here's a list of a few of the things I'm looking at doing over time:
Line-X bed and rear wells (hopefully right after delivery)
Audiophile sound upgrade (I'm a metal head and want my truck to reflect that) ;-)
Custom box graphics and badges (still not sure if I'll vinyl or paint and clear coat)
Bed/roll bars and some hids to go across the top.
Beefed up bumper and some led light bars
And other things, I'm sure.
I've also been kickin around the idea of doing the Roush Raptor phase 2, but the closest Roush dealership is in Fargo and I don't know how the install, warranty, etc is handled. Is the only way to get it serialized to have the kit installed at Roush's main shop or can any roush dealer do it?
Still fuzzy on the various details, but so far I'm just kicking it around. Think I'll just enjoy the thing for a little while before getting too crazy. Either way I'll keep you guys updated!
