Got it wired up a couple of days ago. Wired the battery charger kit to the ground I created near the battery for other things like my AMP running boards and LED lights on the front. The positive side was wired directly to the battery. Everything is automatic as its all wired through the "umbilical" cord from the coach to the truck.

On a side note, this is the best riding and most comfortable truck I've ever owned, my 11th truck in 50 years. We often take others in the truck when sightseeing while camping. Its sooooo roomy and comfortable for four adults.

I just had my 19 Raptor set up to flat tow and my installer told me one of the pins in the 7 way adapter will be hot because if you don’t, the battery could die and then all he’ll breaks loose. He said NO on a battery tender because then you have to wait til the computer resets every time you stop and wait 15 minutes. This may be needed for the newer Raptors but the 19 just needs the hot line as one of the pins. Towed mine across FL and cautiously checked it every hour and 200 miles later all was fine. When you stop to check it, don’t bring your key with you and just open the door and look at the dash and it should show TOW ENABLED and you will hear the door ding. So far so good. Going on a 9k mile trip to Canada in May so that will really be a test.
I have owned Chevys, Nissan and my last was a Tundra. I loved it but this Raptor is just one fine truck and my favorite vehicle. Just did a COBB tune, Stage 1 and a CAI and it woke it up !
