I’d tell them to take that piece of paper and place it where the sun don’t shine. Friggin thieves. But a stealership near me adds 1k for LoJack.

I ordered my gen 3 raptor from them, at “msrp” but they have 3k dealer add on that they put on all their cars even if you don’t want it. I was wondering if anybody else had ordered with them? And if you where able to bring down the dealer add on which is 2,995$. My order comes in next month.
A few dealers are trying to do this to customers. Do you have your order form with the price on it. They would have had to handwritten it on that form. Call them. Tell them you are paying what is on the order form. Ask to speak with the owner of the dealership. If you get the run around call ford customer service and email them the order. If you get no satisfaction call the attorney general of the state you are in and speak with there auto department and file a complaint

Really, about the only thing you can do to avoid surprise charges is make sure you know all the terms of the steal up front. Get quotes for price “out the door” and a breakdown of it. If they aren’t willing to quote you an out the door price, you should be suspicious.

Between the ‘23 price increase and the lack of decently priced units in Texas, I would suck it up and take it. I would then leave a really crappy review with Ford.

Unbelievable how absolutely stupid people are today. This is precisely why we have a inflation problem in this country right now and the feds are continuing to raise rates to bring down inflation. Did any of you meatheads see what happened to the markets yesterday ?

It amazes me how people think it’s smart to overpay for a depreciating toy ? Warren Buffett would be proud.
Ahh, the monthly “you’re all meatheads, I’m a market expert” vomit

$3,500 for dealer add-ons, could not tell from order sheet because nothing was line-itemed for price. Found out when I seen a similar configured Raptor MSRP and notice mine was $3,500 more. Contacted the dealer and explained that they agreed to sell to me at MSRP, and they cant just add extra stuff in without telling me, so they took it off, getting at MSRP. But now the MSRP has gone up $5,000 since putting my deposit down, I am told I am SOL because the dealer never changed it from dealer stock order to a customer order so no Ford price protection. This really sucks.

^Kind of tough when the vehicle is simply overpriced to start with. Even at MSRP, the truck is a ripoff.
