So the inside of both front seat covers had come off. I pulled the seats yesterday to correct that. Found this bundle under my driver seat. Anybody have a clue what this is for? Yes I am the only owner.

Meh, when I bought the truck there was a seat bolt in each door pocket (seats were bolted down proper). Suspect everyone has “Easter eggs“ they don’t know they have.

I also suspect it’s used to connect the sub/rear audio electronics with the front but thought I’d ask.

My dads ‘98 chevy had a rattle in the passenger door he simply couldn’t chase down. Couple years after owning the truck took door card off to put in new speakers & quickly realized there was a crushed up Miller can in the door. Disgruntled factory worker? Lol

Your name says retired, are you sure you just didn’t forget that you hid a recharge cable for some unmentionable in the seat?

Slow reply, but that's a speaker cable for a vizio surround sound system (home surround sound). You can see the "V" logo embossed on the connector.
