That I do not know, I've had mine mounted and have never removed it. This thing is like a rock, absolutely no movement or vibration what so ever.

I purchased this a few years back and have been very happy with it. Its fairly sturdy with a slight vibration at idle but its not noticeable while driving. My only complaint is the phone holder portion of it rattles when no phone is in it. This is the proclip holder I use in my Camaro with a galaxy s21 ultra and a spigen case (it works even though proclip says it wont work with a case). Anything beyond $30-$40 is a total rip off for a phone holder.
