Probably should have researched more before buying a 2019 Raptor

The mid 90s Supra manuals sell for 150-200k on the regular
Mid 90s RX7 FDs sell for 50-70k on the regular
15-20 STIs are already selling for way over MSRP and they just announced the cancellation of them not to mention the s209 is already a 80-120k car and its sticker was around 60ish k when new.

So cringe all you want, a Raptor of any year isn't going to return any type of investment. PERIOD.

So I win the argument

I should qualify my argument low mileage non abused examples.

So what you’re saying here is that you have zero experience at high speed with any of your vehicles.

My Raptor runs 140mph gps-verified. My Explorer ST runs 155mph gps-verified with more in hand.

Edit: My motorcycle(s) run 180+ mph gps-verified.
Doing that on the street really isn't considered high speed experience bud. Talk to me when you compete in sanctioned races with one of the above.

There's a name for guys on sport bikes that act like racers on the "street": Squids :)

Bless your heart. I was racing in NHRA, WERA, and SCCA likely before you were born.

Bringing this back to the topic. I too should’ve done my research before buying a Raptor. This thing is a money pit when it comes to gas and repairs. Not to mention upgrades.

I also was in a similar situation but never went through the phaser replacement since I decided to just enjoy the truck and not expect it to happen as I once was. Solid truck.
