My 2020 stickered for $74k and I paid $65.8k in late Dec. 2020...(bought it used) felt that was a pretty good deal at the time and know it is now.
Thought about selling and waiting for a Gen 3, but not sure I would get one soon enough.
Love this truck.

I bought my 19 in March of last year, prices were elevated then, maybe not as bad as now. Anyway, the truck was on the lot and had everything I wanted but CF and that wasn't a deal breaker. The dealer wanted $7000 over sticker and I laughed at the sales person and said "why in the hell would I do that?" She had the nerve to tell me they were getting that much in CA (I live in Utah). I just laughed again and hung up. Just kind of forgot about it. Lo and behold, 4 days later, she called and offered me the truck for $5000 UNDER the sticker price. I had to laugh again, I told her call me back when it hits $7000 under. Figured I wouldn't hear from them again (didn't care). Well, 2 more days later, they call again and offer me $6000 under. I bought it. Truck stickered for $71,000 and change.

sheesh, sounds like a great deal. hearing stories like that doesn’t make me feel so bad for not pulling the trigger ASAP and waiting a while for this storm to settle a bit.

Bought my truck new at $65k last October. No intention of selling but figured I'd see what KBB would offer me and came up just shy of $70k for it last week with 9k miles on it. Have had 4 dealers reach out to me about buying it. It's almost annoying how much they've been reaching out about it...

Gotta pay to play.

Thats laughable. Paying to play was paying for one at invoice in fall of 19. Prices now are higher than Hunter Biden, and everyone knows it. Values will not stay where they are with a V8 Gen 3 on the horizon, and a much improved V6 already announced.

Not bad, set on a black truck though with a few other packages added as well. Doesn't help in this market trying to find the exact spec i’m after with low miles for the right price and it’ll take a while but i’ll find it eventually.

Order a new Gen 3 in a few months for what these used ones are going for.

March, April, May last year was a sweet spot. Raptors are popular here but you could get one at invoice. Fast forward a year and conditions are totally different. Not a sweet spot. More like a bitter spot. So when you compare now and a year ago, it's not apples and oranges. More like apples and refrigerators. My prediction is that MY2021 will trickle out and the ADM will be high. So I think used prices will hold up. If I'm wrong and Ford ships 50,000 Raptors this year, it will flood the market and prices, new and used, will drop like a rock. But I think that would be both stupid and impossible, so I think we're pretty safe.

There is no “much improved” V6, it’s the same engine as the current Raptor with a bump in compression ratio and an equal length exhaust. So far they’ve only indicated it will be tuned for more torque; power increase, if any, is unknown. The R model will have little to no effect on Gen 2 prices, it’s in a completely different price bracket. Most likely starting around $90k and going up from there.

I am Selling my 2020 Agate Black 802A scab. RPG in California is currently working on it. She has 1100 miles. Bought in May of 2020 and became a garage queen. She went to get work done beginning of December 2020. Still being worked on. Everything underneath is chrome moly including the differential. Equipped with every upgrade RPG has to offer.(too many to list). We reinforced everything! From the frame to lower control arms attachment points to prevent them from bending under heavy stress. She will have 39" KM3s. You will never see one with this type of upgrade. I wanted her to be super tough and Baha ready. Im not here to deceive nor mislead anyone. Just someone who saved up for his dream truck and wanted every upgrade to make her one of a kind. If interested,

Post some pictures of your one-of-a-kind Raptor if you really want an opinion.

sorry to hear you have to sell your dream, but I would probably stop the upgrades as you will not recoup the cost

You will still be paying to be playing.
