Hm, that's what I'm looking for then. You're thinking the new actuator might have a problem? It's real easy getting to and I did buy a 2nd I never thought to try. All 3 installed and clip/connector is fine. Took it out a few times and checked it and everything looked fine. Also could manually move the linkage/gear wheel to flip the door with no problem.
You could swap it out again and try it, it is the easiest one to do, sounds like its not working. If it was me, that's what i would do, especially since you have an extra one. I guess if put a meter across the plug in, you could see if it has power or not, don't know what the voltage is suppose to be though.

You implying it doesn’t look good up there as is? ;)

I actually had thought about doing that and had a similar question to @BenBB.

I was going to try it up there for a while and see if it was any better back under the rear seat. If I do like it I will probably consider doing what you suggested.

I had considered doing an intercom, but just have not really looked in to too much. How much would the cable the ability to hear things going on around you, engine/drivetrain noise, etc? I assume basically all of it.

Wondered that too.
I use the center channel speaker for my TYT. Works great. Can’t complain at all. Haven’t decided what radio I’m going to next, and if it will still work or not. I have zero issue now hearing people though.

I may end up going that way long term, but for now we’ll give this a go. I like the cleanness of using the center channel, but do you notice any issues with losing it for normal stereo use?

what happened gramps? why was the rear so hard?
Parking brake came off fairly easy on passenger side. Just would not come off on driver side. Finally got the rotor off with a small hand sledge. Should have known. Had to use that on all 4 rotors on my garage kept car which has NEVER slept outside. Raptor would be garage kept, but won't clear the height on the door with 37's on it.

Yes, Gen 1. E-brake? Small internal shoes inside rotor drums on rear, both sides. 30 minutes SHOULD have been about it, but....... the self-repair gods were bored that day and were messing with me. They just love hearing me cuss.

Fyi....do NOT ever get in line behind me at ANY store. There's ALWAYS a problem. Not with me, but the person right in front of me.

Yeah well after 20 times you can do it in your sleep lol! You never noticed the miniature brake shoes in there?! It's inside the rear rotors (the rotor itself is the drum) so if you're just doing pads you wouldn't take em off and see. @Bozz mine were the same way, I actually cracked one of the fronts with a sledge getting it off. Were the parking brake pads swollen or something?
