my 2020 just gave me a "Drive Control Malfunction" error message this morning. It is stuck in normal mode. The dealer can't get the truck in for 2 days. Do you think I should not be driving it until then?

It's fine to drive until then. Any mods, or stock?

My 2020 with Eibachs that has had the ride height calibration completed has been giving me the Drive Control Malfunction error. I took it into the dealership and they said I have a bad shock that needs to be replaced. Shock is on back order so I don’t know how long it will be before I can get it fixed. When they install the new shock, does the ride height need to be recalibrated? Has anyone else had to wait on a back ordered Fox shock? If so, how long did it take to get a new shock? Thank you in advance!

Yes, the ride height needs to be recalibrated any time a ride height sensor is disconnected or suspension work is performed.

The dealership is claiming rodent damage and a wire has been chewed on. They want me to pay $425 to fix it on my dime. Anyone dealt with this and what can I do?

how many miles do you have? This is covered under warranty. I had mine show this error on a 2020 at 600 miles, no mods. Finally the truck to them recently and they replaced one. Now the error is back and taking it back in Monday

Rodent damage is not covered by the factory warranty or the ESP. You might have an insurance claim under auto, home owners or umbrella potentially but it’s not warranty item. You can ask for pictures to see if the stealership is trying to skimp out on a warranty claim because they ran out of time on the repair and they know Ford won’t reimburse $*** of it. A few Raptor owners have had this happen. I seen to recall one member got soaked to the tune of over 2 large.

I had my bike harness chewed to the tune of about $250, so I feel your pain. I set traps and bait in the garage for this very reason.
