So I read that the Gen 2 Raptor people don't wave to the Gen 1 Raptor people.... Do you think the Gen 3 Raptor people will wave to the Gen 2 & 1 people? I damn well hope so.

I always wave to all Gen Raptor people. Because ALL Raptor people matter.
I always way too!

I’ve had Porsche’s sine the late 90’s, and it is very common to acknowledge in the Porsche community in some way, regardless of the year or model Porsche you see on the road. I must admit, sadly, not as common today.

I’m in Huntington Beach,Ca and I wave to all raptors. I usually get a wave if they see me waving at them. Im always checking out the raptors to see what upgrades they have. I’m sure most raptor owners do the same thing. I’m very happy with my raptor and I really enjoy driving it.
I had a corvette and it didn’t take me long to figure out that the wave is a common courtesy for corvette owners.

42 years young born and raised in Newport Beach guy chiming in here... I have not once waved at another Raptor. Not that I dont appreciate them, and I promise I am not a ********. Welp... maybe, but the reality is I don’t share anything in common with 99% of the Raptor owners in Orange County... I actually use mine for it’s intended purposes. Not to troll PCH. With shined tires and paint matched flares.

All ******* jokes aside, I feel like the “wave of appreciation” or acknowledgement takes place when vehicles are rare or have some underlying significance. Here, in the “Orange Curtain”, Raptors are the common place! I see them just as often as I do standard F150’s, or Honda Civixs for that matter.

“Awesome, you own a Raptor... #metoo!”

I didn’t know about a wave situation until about two months after getting my Gen 2 last fall. Was leaving work and another Gen 2 guy very excitedly put his whole hand up above the steering wheel. I waved back. The area I work in must have maybe 2-3 raptors max.
It’s just nice to see people being nice. Sense of community is what we all need, raptors or not.

PS I’m the kind of guy who will wave to anyone waving at me haha.

You read wrong!!! Most raptor drivers acknowledge other raptors, unless they’re jealous you have more mods than them!!! I have felt the mod envy.

Funny this thread just popped up. My wife commented on this yesterday and said "oh you wave at Raptors, I thought that was a stupid Jeep thing." I wave at every F150 we pass now just to **** her off.
