Strange knocking/tapping!

I have 2014 Raptor and this weird clicking/tapping/knocking noise happens when I open any door. It doesn’t it for 10-15 seconds. It sounds like its coming from behind the dash near the steering wheel. Any experience with what this is???? Doesn’t happen while driving so I don’t believe it’s any thing mechanical in that sense.

Do you have "easy entry" enabled? Go through your dash functions and disable it, maybe that's at fault and something is binding? Just an idea.

Ok, after further investigation, I tried changing the settings on my A/C from blowing to the face to blowing down towards the feet and defrost all at the same time. I removed the defrost portion of the setting and the knocking stopped. Weird that it would only knock/tap when I opened any door. CRAZY! But its not knocking/tapping now at all.

OP, you are lucky when that one fails completely, it's the easy one to replace.

That was a weird one. But all good. I appreciate all the responses. I love this forum!
