Hey all.

heading down to SVC shortly to have Deaver springs and bump stops installed.

Their stage 1 kit basically for my 2020 SCREW.

I’ve had this raptor for about a month now and love it but want to remedy the rear wheel stability.

since I’m going to be at SVC part of me wants to just go as far as I can and for their performance pack as well


Along with the deavers and bump stops this will give me ...

1.5” billet upper control arms.

Aluminum steering tie rods

And fox front and rear 2020 factory series 3.0 live valve shocks.

too much too fast ? should I enjoy the oem fox shocks some more ? Truck has 13k miles.

how’s in road performance going to be vs stock since this is also my daily driver.

want to get the suspension set up before heading out to Utah for a week and thought “ why not just go all the way?”

I have a 2019 crew with:

Fox factory live valve front and rear
SVC bumps with fox 2.0s
SVC upper control arms
KHC slot delete stage 1
Deaver +3s.

In my view the principal benefits of the fox 3.0s are ride height at the front, cooling for longer and aggressive offroad driving, and the ability to switch between 3 settings for damping (beyond the live valve itself). I run mine at 3/4" of lift in the front, after trying 1.5" of lift and really not liking the fact the front suspension had too little droop travel. Also, you really should recalibrate the ride height sensors, especially at higher levels of lift, as the live valve gets stiff otherwise. Ride height cannot easily be adjusted on the truck - so make decisions on this first if you can. I received a lot of bad advice on ride height from various shops and online. Stock, the truck has about 7-7.5" of up travel and 5.5-6" of down travel. If you take 2 inches of down travel away and give it to up travel (e.g. by cranking up preload), your balance is off between compression and extension, with it being as much as 9.5 of the former, and just 3.5 of droop. As soon as you travel offroad like this, the droop is constantly finding bottom, and its quite harsh.

Cooling is a big, big improvement with these compared to stock. My stock fox live valves would get cooking hot, whereas these new ones stay much much cooler.

SVC upper control arms have a 3/4 bolt through the upright. This means you have to drill through the upright, as the stock hole is nowhere near the right size. That's a one way trip, as you can't go back to stock without new uprights, which aren't cheap.

Deavers and bump stops work really really well. Way smoother and more progressive offroad than the stock set up, and very good insurance against major damage.

I see the use case for this package as someone who is going to drive off-road fast, but not so fast as to need/want a mid travel setup. Perhaps this is obvious, but given the cost, ask yourself if you fit in this category and then make the call.

Since you asked about on road, its great. Especially at the firmest of three settings. Unless you're just hitting freeway expansion joints LOL

Just a heads up, both Fox and King are backed up on building and delivering shocks due to Covid. Took around 16 weeks for my Kings to come in. Apparently Fox is longer. Plan for some time

I have a 2018 SCREW and started with my mods about six months ago and have had problems due to COVID shortages. I’ve done a lot but suspension wise I did Geisers up front and +3 Deavers in the rear and love how it drives my 2 cents is while it’s there do it and enjoy the hell out of it you won’t be disappointed with the setup your looking at.
