It's an ecoboost so it'll never be anything but a steaming pile of shit, no matter what you put on it.
be nice now. as you can see, he has done a lot of work to the truck. you have to acknowledge and admire the amount of time spent to modify a vehicle, no matter the vehicle. what you dont like, someone else will. and so the opposite is true too. people wrenching on their own vehicles is becoming like common sense...... its disappearing. throwing money at a problem or project just makes it someone elses problem or project. learning about how things work and why is the basis of most of us here on the forum. lots of people dont like the ecoboost, but its here to stay, so we have to deal with it. but be nice and welcome the new member. we have an ecoboost vs v8 thread somewhere...

There's always going to be people who don't agree with what you do and say, just look at FB, lol. Keep up the good work on your truck and keep posting about it and anything else you want to contribute to the forum, glad to have you here.

I say BOO! Get this man a haterade!

Anyone can buy a Raptor. It takes time, effort and love to do this. I say good on ya man!

While I agree that it's the time and care owners put into their trucks, I do admit, I wish the "FORD" grill would not be available or used by anyone other than Raptor owners.

ALMOST everything that makes a Raptor a Raptor visually can be purchased and swapped (just bolts & nuts) into the F-150. The suspension pieces, skid plates are bolted on, along with the fenders, hood, tailgate, etc.

The things pretty difficult to swap is:

1) the engine (Raptor has HO 3.5- different turbos/tuning, etc.)
2) the rear section of the frame (Raptor has extra steel plates at the bump-stop locations).
3) the 4:10 gearing F/R.
4) the Torsen Torque Biasing front diff.
5) the Electric Locker rear diff.

Don't listen to all the haters. The haters is just going to hate because they wish they have the skill, time and the passion to do what you did. A very nice and clean build. But on the flip side, with all that money you spend on this build why don't you just buy a Raptor? Just asking.
