While removing my skid plate, I came across these two locations where it seems to be leaking oil, is this something to worry about? Truck is a 2017

The front leak on the steering rack is most likely coming from the oil pan right above it. Common issue with the 2017 is a leaking oil pan.

The other photos are the transmission pan. But it may not actually be leaking. It may just be oil from oil pan spraying back onto the transmission due to the skid plates.

Best bet to be sure, spray it all down with heavy concentration of dawn/water in a spray bottle. Let is soak into the oil and spray it off with a hose. Once it dries off see if you have any oil spots left and rinse/repeat as necessary.

Leave the skid plates off and drive it around for awhile and see if the leak returns. and if so from where.

Your leak looks about as bad as mine does "more of a slow seepage than a leak". I cleaned mine up 2 weeks ago and park at home with a pan underneath to monitor it. In 2 weeks it has no dripped once. So I'm not too worried about it and plan to fix it myself when I change the oil.
