Ugh. Dealership called and said they think it's something to do with the front diff, which requires a 10 hour teardown to see what the issue is.

Don’t let them tear your truck apart before swapping front tires side to side to see if it starts going back the other direction. I didn’t believe it could be a tire either until that fixed mine. I do have Torsen.

I searched "Raptor pulling to the Right" and found this blog: Thanks for posting or I would be on a wild chase!

I just bought a 2020 Raptor 4 days ago and on the first trip (next day after purchase) I was testing and engaged the 4A. The Raptor immediately pulled to the left upon acceleration. This is at any speed and only upon acceleration, it pulled to the left. It straightened up when coasting and did not pull to the left. I took it out of 4A and the problem did not go away. Tough on the forearms on a 3 hr. trip. The next day when traveling back the pull was gone. I waited until the last 10 minutes of the trip to try the 4A and the problem came back.... Pulling to the left upon acceleration. I turned the 4A back to 2H and the pulling went pull upon acceleration went away this time. I guess I will have to contact the dealer tomorrow and I'm sure I will have to get it serviced. And BTW, I am 4 hrs. away from the dealership where it was purchased. This should be fun!!!

In the event you believe you have an issue, you can schedule a service appointment at any Ford dealership of your choice. It does not need to be the dealership you purchased your Raptor from.

Update to the "pulling left when in 4a or 4WD".....

Well the Raptor is in the dealership shop now.
The Technician test drove my Raptor with me in the passenger seat.
He was baffled when he put it in 4A and the truck immediately started pulling left during acceleration. Same in 4WD.

The service manager emailed me this morning with the comment below (I guess they are "they" are the "Ford help desk for Technicians?"):

THEY WANT US TO TRY A COUPLE OF THINGS ON THE TRUCK BUT HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO YET. THEY JUST GOT BACK WITH US THIS MORNING.

No, it's called torque steer and it's normal for the vehicles with the Torsen. If you search around here, you can find plenty of people complaining about it. It's the price you pay for better off road performance.

Sorry, this issue "is not" torque steer!
This is an issue my 2020 Raptor is having and is definitely an issue with the truck. My 2020 is currently in the dealership service dept. and they are trying to figure out the issue. More to follow when they have an answer!

No, it's not, and that's obvious. But my comment wasn't in response to any post of yours, so I don't understand why you seem to have your knickers in a twist over it. If you've never felt torque steer, it's easy to think something is wrong the first time you feel it. And it's hard to quantify what it feels like on the internet. It sounds like the OP also has a real problem.

Ok, so the issue is verified in several ways. Based on the descriptions, it is definitely a failed IWE that does not engage at all on the LEFT side. The left-pull is due to the right front wheel driving forward as it should in 4A while the left front wheel is still just free-wheeling as it did not engage the hub. It's not the most common IWE failure, but certainly one of the failure modes.

LOL I have a L&R set of IWEs sitting on a shelf in my garage because of all the talk of them failing. However, they're still in their boxes 3 years and 55,000 miles later, so if you want them to last just buy a spare set!
