Gen 1 (2012) making odd "clatter/rattle over rough pavement (video)

They will find it. Glad you got a video of the sound. I had a similar rattle in my 02 F-250. Took it in to my mechanic and told him there was a rattle. He was an older guy. Mid 80s. He drove it and came back and said “son, the only rattle you got is in your head ain’t nothing wrong with that truck”. Found it a week later, a bolt was loose on the drivers side step. Those rattles can be frustrating.

I had a super annoying plastic rattle in the cab. I think I mentioned I am deaf in one (left) ear so locating sound can be difficult. I tore apart the doors, nothing, noise still there, tore apart the dash, nothing, noise still there. A bit later I had a friend in the passenger seat, asked them "do you hear that noise? see if you can figure out where it's coming from, it's driving me insane".... almost without hesitation they opened the little compartment in the ceiling and took my sunglasses out.... noise gone!!! GAH!!!
