In fact, if the car seats are terrible, nothing will help to remove the pain. I would advise you to start doing some exercises, but it will not be enough. First, you must solve the problem with your seat. To reduce the pain, you can start doing yoga. When I had back or neck pain, yoga helped me. I used to come home after work and with helps of https://yogapractice.com/yoga/yoga-poses-for-sciatica-pain-relief/ eliminated lower back pain. In fact, yoga is generally good for health. So think about it.

In my previous car I had to change the seats entirely because I was post surgery for my herniated disk and driving was uncomfortable as all hell. Every single time I drove somewhere I had to keep my eyes peeled for potholes, otherwise I would jostle my wound. I used red kratom in small amounts as a kind of pain suppressant since the vibrations were also giving me problems, and I continued to use until I finished my rehabilitation.

Am I the only Wussy or does anybody else have issues adjusting drivers seat to keep from seeing a chiropractor on a regular basis for back pain. I have never had issues with any other truck or car for that matter but what a bummer. Have a new 2019 Raptor with 802a package and the price was painful enough. I'd probably be in the hospital if I had the nuts to go off road. Any advise. Please keep smart as@ comments to a limit but I encourage a few.
I have a 2018 ford raptor (not the recaro seats) … came here looking to learn about the same issue !!!(my back kills me after driving just a few minutes (not sure if it’s now psychological) last week I had to jump onto the back seat to care for my newborn..and after a few minutes my back felt better..

We also have a Mazda CX-5.. and have obviously sat in many other cars. Dodge Charger (Patrol car) for hours at a time and back feels fine!

There’s nothing we can do ! Just good to know someone else feels the same way about them …

Man, sorry to hear that. Have you messed with lumbar and position? I know that’s a basic question but there’s a bunch of adjustment. If you can’t get relief that way, I’d suggest taking pics of a “known good” seat and the Rap seats, go to an upholstery shop and see if they can re-foam it for you.

Don’t give up. My back is a mess and sitting is uncomfortable, period. Some seats are less uncomfortable than others. What helps me is exercise, sitting as little as possible, and choosing seats wisely. My number one criteria for a vehicle is seats that are both very adjustable and also fit my particular shape. Being able to change seat position on long trips helps. If that doesn’t do the trick, go for external adjustments. Wedges, rolled towels, inflatable cushions, pillows, props. I have a whole bag full. Don’t much need them in my truck, though, it fits me as well as any I have ever sat in. I can drive a full day so long as I take my vitamin I.

And did I mention exercise? It’s 90% of the solution for me. Fear of going back into the tunnel of pain has made me an exerciser. Even so, five minutes in an airplane seat without props is excruciating, so there are limits. I have modified vehicle seats in the past and would have no hesitation swapping in something comfortable. If you are comfortable in some seat, that’s huge. Now you need to figure out why and make the appropriate change.

I constantly mess with ALL the adjustment settings…just can’t get comfortable!

Also, I completely agree exercise and keeping healthy back muscles Is crucial! I’m not a fat blob…, but also not a healthy specimen! Lol

I’m work on my back by exercise and if that don’t help I’ll just try buying some types of cushioning..

Best thing I've found for back pain is an inversion table. It always helps. My wife and I both use it when needed. I'll have one in the house until I'm too old to use it.

I'd sell the truck and find another. It may be what you wanted, but the term "there's an ass for every seat" is real, and your ass ain't for that seat.

The day's of just swapping out a set of seats to ones you like is over with air bags and all that crap...
