Hey all,
New Raptor owner here, bought a 2010 tuxedo black raptor about two weeks ago and absolutely love it! The truck has 218,00km on it but has been meticulously maintained by the previous owner and seemed to be in good shape. Recently though I have noticed some problems I was hoping the forum might be able to help with:
1) Check 4x4 light comes on in the dash when the 4x4 switch is pulled to activate the diff lock. Switching between 4 high and 4 low works just fine with no errors.
2) I had the check engine light come on yesterday, it was -45°c yesterday and -40 today so I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with the light coming on in extreme cold. There have been no weird noises/misfire sounds.
I was recently posted to an isolated community in northern Saskatchewan and dont have easy access to a code reader and Amazon among most places wont ship up here, so getting the codes read is going to be a no go at least for a while. I realise it will be hard to diagnose the issues without proper equipment but just wanted to see if anyone has gone through similar issues. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
