That is where mine happens as well, is this supposed to happen.

I don’t think its supposed to do that. But the stealership said “according to Ford” it is normal, because in Sport mode it shifts more aggressively.

in other words, they dont want to fix it.

So did they do a TSB reprogram of the transmission?

Did nobody who drives a 17+ Raptor ever own a muscle car with a decent transmission? You know, a decent big block GM/Ford with a TH400 or C6 ?

No?

So, when my 442 shifted from 1-2 and 2-3 - 1-2 was a hard hit, dual black streaks. 2-3 was worth 12mph on the speedometer. You could be tooling around like a Sunday ride to church with no issues at all. But if you put your foot in it, yeah, you better not have an open beverage anywhere.

The Rap is nothing like that, it’s way, way more refined.
