Oh believe me, I own a few sports and pony cars. On the way home from the dealership, I took it through a particular curve near me and gunned it. My next move was to look at my wife who was looking back at me thinking the same thing.

“Honey”, I said with a silly grin on my face, “This thing is fu**ing stupid.”

As someone who has previously used "sports-car" in a description of Raptor handling,
I completely agree.

I am staggered at how good it is to drive.
Those Fox shocks & K02s work like magic.

I did not realize the reference on how it drives would cause such a stir lol. I’ve driven my fair share of sports and pony cars to say it is not a sports car. That being said for a truck the raptors really do drive like one! They handle surprisingly well ripping through back roads and feel very controlled through corners for what they are (given theres a fair amount of body roll but all things considered they could be way worse). To put it plainly I feel comfortable pushing a raptor around corners in the same vein I feel comfortable pushing a sports car. Given I don’t push it as hard, but I push it way harder than I would ever push a standard truck. If everything was ideal and I could find a new raptor for what I paid for mine I’d be all over it but around me the ones I’ve found have all been 802a screws (read $$$$$) or people wanting as much as they bought them for with 30k miles and the rational person in me is having a hard time forking up as much money for a used truck as I paid new. Sadly I just don’t have the luxury of waiting around to do something as rental car fees add up and I need a truck/off-road capable vehicle for work. I am still in the hunt to see what I find, but trying to act fast.

The Raptor is my first truck, coming from a Hellcat Challenger, ZL1 Camaro, and Subie STi, Honda S2000...
I love the corners, and that it would be fun-to-drive was a critical criteria.
It may not handle as well as an actual sports car, but it is certainly the sports car of trucks.
Brake early, and the K02s will grip phenomenally for AT tires.

For you current situation, how about something new and inexpensive to get you though a Gen 3 delivery date ?
What vehicle will depreciate the lea$t in the next 5 months ?
