I agree about the use/non-critical but it also needs to be an ignition on source so its not drawing constant power. Knowing I'll never use my front camera washer is why it's my first choice. Since the rain sensor is empty, if its still receiving power by ignition on that would also be a good candidate.

Bummer today testing the fuse box...3 of the fuses I was considering are hot (upfitter 3, upfitter 4 & front camera washer). Fuses 52, 53, 54, 56, 75-78 & 79 are key on powered. Many of them are PCM or Run/Start powering important stuff. Doesn't look like rain sensor (79) is getting any power. I really don't want to run wire thru the firewall to get to the pass fuse box. Any other ideas that's easy?

Since you are tying lighting into headlights you can add a relay switched off of the headlight or marker light power. This gets you a brand new, individually fused circuit with no need to tap the stock fuse block.
