I do know it’s a pain in the ass to lift the rear to work on it. Before, I would just jack the whole rear end from the hitch. My pro eagle and extension no longer have enough stroke to gap the tires, and it gets super sketchy lifted up that high. I even have the extra tall 46” 10T jack stands.

@zombiekiller how the hell do you jack the rear?

Trailer strap/chains to the frame to limit droop

Thanks for the great write up. I recently gave SVC the deposit for all of the fox shocks and bypass to do their mid travel. When I was there in December picking up my front bumper, I was advised that Fox’s current lead time is pretty long, so if I wanted to do it this year, I should get my order in. Really looking forward to the increased performance.

The worst part about Fox is the lead time. Any order I've made for my trucks through AccuTune, a large dealer of theirs, has taken months.

At minimum I’ve been aiming for that 3a option. Then again, reading your further comments makes me want to either reconsider the live valves completely.

So to clarify, you were running the eibachs up front with all the rear components until you made the upgrade to the mid travel kit?

How long did it take from placing the order to the install?

I ran eibachs in front, and deaver +3s and king air bump stops in the rear for a few months. The combination of eibachs and live valves sucked, but I did not get it recalibrated. I’m not sure how much that would have helped.

I bought the truck knowing I was going mid-travel. Got it all installed at about 2K miles. Most of those miles were on dirt or going to dirt. I knew the live valves were going to get gutted, but still wanted a new truck.

It took several months of waiting for king to deliver the shocks. Sounds like both king and fox were/are backed up with Covid shutdowns. Call up Jeff @svc for current lead times. I’d go with fox or king depending on who can deliver first.

I’m kind of in the same boat as you... SVC mid travel is my end goal but not wanting to make that plunge yet. Currently running geisers on the stock live valves and I really don’t like it.. was thinking about buying some factory 3.0s but your post makes me second guess that plan. You really didnt feel much improvement from the stock coilovers w Eibachs? Not even the on road manners? The front end of my truck is really stiff and preloaded with the geisers. Maybe need to suck it up and deal with the geisers till I feel like pulling the trigger on a mid travel kit.
