seems pretty common but my 19 with the B&O has what seems to be a door speaker problem. Hate to take to a stealership for something so small and set a claim or wait the however many weeks for them to be able to diagnose.

Anyone have take outs after upgrading their audio that you would be willing to part with (for a fee)?
Or anyone buy an aftermarket drop in that will work with the system?

Really just dont want my talk radio to sound like shat

man.. tough call. The problem is --most likely-- a connection issue, but is it at the door, harness or radio / amp? I’d probably take it apart myself to check for a loose connection and have a set of aftermarket speakers ready to go. If you don’t want to go that route you could swap left and right door speakers, see if the problem follows the speaker or stays at the door.

if swapping the components around doesn’t make a diff, restore to stock and make a stealership appt. Running down this kind of problem takes a person who doesn’t mind that kind of work. I do.

good luck.

I came to that conclusion as well.. drop in speakers being delivered today from crutchfield and will take door apart in a few hours once it warms up a little..

will see how it goes

Yeah, but if he has a problem in the circuit, it should go back together to have the stealership troubleshoot it.

I also have the b&o system. Last year the rear passenger door speaker was causing crackling sounds at higher volumes. Called my local ford dealership and had everything covered under warranty. Only had to wait 2 weeks for an opening in service but no hassle at all. I didnt even purchase the vehicle from them so seeing some of these comments makes me wonder if I just got lucky

I had the same problem with my 2018.
I pulled on the door panel and the noise stopped
I wedged a piece of hard plastic between the door and panel to resolve the problem.
