My interior lights work fine but both my puddle lights and cargo lights are not working. So the fuse is OK and I checked the bulbs are also OK. Any ideas what could cause this?

Are the puddle lights oem? I bought some aftermarket led and they lasted a few months before they crapped out. I’d take them out and hook them directly to the battery to check if they work. If they do then you need to trace the wiring back to find the problem. Just start at one end and eliminate things one by one. Most likely it’s the actual light

Mine stopped working for a period of time. I plugged up ForSCAN and cleared all the codes (it's stored one on the BCM that said the driver side puddle light had shorted) and it worked. Wouldn't hurt to do a BCM reset on ForSCAN while you're in there. I've since replaced them with complete LED puddle lamp housings. Very happy with them. Huge difference.

Same thing on my end, I took out OEM puddle lights and cargo lights and replaced with LED bulbs. Worked for a couple of weeks then out. I ordered new puddle lights to check if they are the problem. Also, don't know if me playing with the dimmer switch screwed something up. Anybody know how to make sure the dimmer switch isn't the issue?

The puddle and cargo lamps are on the same circuit, which is powered by a Field Effect Transistor (FET) in the BCM. The FET replaces the fuse, and is will disable the circuit if an overcurrent or undercurrent condition is detected. Since you replaced the bulbs with LEDs, the BCM most likely has a DTC set for an open circuit (low current draw). After the fault remains present for a predetermined number of cycles, the BCM will disable the circuit output. You can verify if a DTC has set using ForScan.
