I vote Raptor unless you are towing something that requires a 3/4 ton truck. All the emissions stuff they put on the new diesels made me lose interest. The raptor rides so much better too. Maybe I'm just getting old but that alone would make it hard for me to ever consider going back to a 3/4 ton truck again.

like the look of the truck & ride height, air suspension sounds awesome would def look into that if I had a SD truck, still not a fan of the 22”s though - but to each their own, I’d probably stick w/ 20”s

Although I saw a Harley Davidson F350 in person & I think they come w/ 22”s & it looked sick....I mean it may have been the best looking “stock” factory truck I have ever seen tbh, but too over the top for my tastes

enjoy man!

I wanted to go with 20's but was advised to go with 22's since I will be doing a full brake kit soon. The 20's would have been a tight fit I was told. The only thing I wanted to make sure of is that I did NOT want those ridiculous offset wheels where it looks like the hubs are about to snap. I didn't mind a little tire but wanted it all as clean as possible without rubbing.

I do miss my Raptor for the off-road fun factor. That thing was a blast running down some of these roads. I am not that confident to try it in a 3/4 ton.

Backstory- I had a 19 raptor scab 801a which was just totaled and trying to figure out what to get next. I would love another scab raptor but I can’t seem to find a scab let along one at a decent price which leaves me with the dilemma of trying to find a screw that isn’t gonna cost me an arm and a leg or getting a 6.7 power stroke and putting a little into it to make it fun. Has anyone gone from a raptor to a 6.7 or vice versa? Really trying to just figure out my options because I have to decide on something and don’t want to wait another year(minimum) for the gen 3s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had a new 2013 6.7, sold it and bought a new 2013 GEN1, In my opinion, absolutely no comparison as far as a fun factor in the “seat of the pants” experiences. The 6.7 is a Torque monster but very slow and not fun to drive on the road. I have have zero experience with off road or towing.

I’ve debated the new f150- probably the only way I’m going to do it is with plans to supercharge it(have a little too much Ricky Bobby in me). Just don’t know if I want to void the warranty on a mew truck and feel like I would be underwhelmed with a stick 3.5 or 5.0.

3.5 Powerboost with the 7.2 KW battery has 430 Hp & 570 lb. Ft. Of torque so it's a little faster with the 3.73 gears than the Raptor.

I had a 2013 6.7 SCREW 4×4 with a tune. Towed a 5th wheel with it. I absolutely loved it. Sold the 5th wheel and the F-250 & bought a 2018 F-150 SCREW 5.0. I did a few performance mods including dual exhausts. I kept looking at 3 2017 Raptors and made the mistake of driving one. There is little comparison between the three when it comes to being fun to drive both on and off road. The Raptor will pit a smile on your face no matter where you are driving. Now go find you a Raptor and be happy.
