GEN 2 SVC Bolt on front bumper vs ADD?

I agree on the logo part, i like the look of the ADD bumper over the SVC but think their logo is ugly as f... seems like its not too prominent though on the skidplate. If there was a way to cover it I would do that. Same with their rear bumper as well.

What are the best lights to run in the rear bumper? I read on another post that a fullsize cube gets cut off behind the bumper. Would something small like the Baja S1 be a better fit for that bumper?

You do get some cut-off from full size pods, but it's relatively minimal in my opinion. You could go with Baja Designs S1 or S2 vs a full size pod, but you'd probably need to get a spacer on it to have it line up correctly in the slot.

Honestly, we pretty much always put a full size pod in that location. But every now and then we re-purpose an S2 from a front fog kit and throw it back there with spacers.

Anyone know what the main difference is between the ADD bolt on V1 vs V2? Looks like the skid plates are different but cant really tell anything else. I still prefer the look of the V1 (and its about $500 cheaper too)

The difference is in the center section and the skid plate.

Pictured here is the PRO V1 with it's 2 main lighting options: 20" light bar or 6 pods

The Pro V2 has a different skid plate and a larger opening. You can run 4 Baja Designs LP4 lights or 4 Rigid 360 Series 6" lights. You could run up to 2 20" light bars. And you can run up to 12 pods.

I hadn’t noticed that, thanks for pointing it out. I think it’s a less obtrusive than the ADD logo personally but yes still there.

On the ADD PRO Bolt-On, the logo is cut into the skid plate. It's hardly noticeably from the front.

On the rear, it's cut into the top of the bumper. You don't really see it from behind until you get up close.

The SVC bumpers are the same.

Thanks for all the info! Can you comment on the rusting issues that some people have complained about on the ADD? I though I read somewhere that they may have changed the painting process recently, any truth to that?

The powder coat issue has been fixed. ADD used to outsource powder, but they brought it in-house about 2-3 years ago and that led to a significant improvement in their powder QC. Now, every once in awhile we do get a partially missed weld which can lead to a rust issue. It happens when you've got a large operation and you're running welders in 3 shifts, 7 days a week producing bumpers that are welded by hand. While ADD does have QC in place and takes photographs of every single bumper before it leaves the shop, issues like this do get missed. With all the ADD bumpers we've sold over the years, I've had two instances of missed welds that caused rust and both times ADD sent the customer a complete replacement.

On the ADD rear bumper is that top part where all the bolts and logo are removable or replaceable?

Yes, the top plate is removable.
