That is some of the goofiest shit I've ever seen! So it has 95 less hp, and 127 less lb/ft of torque, but "the Raptor simple can't compete". WTF does that even mean? I kept thinking I was reading it wrong.

Raptor
With a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine under the hood, with a respectable 450 horsepower with 510 pound-feet of torque. The Raptor simple can't compete.
Trail Boss
The 5.3-liter V8 engine in the Trail Boss provides 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, routing the power to the four-wheel-drive system through an eight-speed transmission. Nothing to sneeze at.

I was thinking the same thing...

Really Rancho? I think they went this route for price and even your average Joe (no pun intended) knows or heard the name Rancho over the years. GM used to use a lot of Bilstein. But most won’t know the name and forget Fox and King, you have would have to truly know a little.

A 2” lift is one thing. 2” more of suspension travel is a whole different ball game.

The Trail Boss lacks a lot of things. First a proper fuel tank. GM is still only putting in 24 gallon tanks, which I find to be kind of small when Ford, Toyota, and Ram have options for extended range tanks or they come standard with them. The Rancho shocks are a joke. The interior is not bad, way better than the ZR2 Colorado, but the column shifter needs to go. The rear bumper is ugly. I disliked it from the press release event when they flew it in with a helicopter.

In my opinion the Raptor is the better truck. I still want one more than ever.

What’s wrong with column shifters?
