Bought a new peddle commander from Amazon last March. Very easy installation. Seemed good, felt like it did cut down on peddle response time. A couple of months ago while on cruise control ( instructions said doesn’t affect while on cc) everything crashed and truck went into limp mode. Happened 3 different times over the month. Still under warranty, I forgot to disconnect before taking in. Ford dealer I go to is good, kept truck a couple of days and dealer said definitely the peddle commander. It’s been disconnected about 4 months with no problems whatsoever. Have tried to contact Peddle commander numerous times since, always a message to leave a message. Left a message every time... never a reply !

Had mine on for 3 years now. No issues at all

I’ve had my PC installed on several GEN 2 Raptors with zero issues.

Me too. It was one of the first mods I made and it’s hard to go back to the anemic throttle response of normal mode after Pedal Commander in city mode.
I can’t comment on their customer service. I do know that few users have reported similar symptoms, I think they are mostly on newer Gen2’s

I wonder if the Peddle Commander on Amazon is a knock off of the Pedal Commander?

Actually, not a bad question. I believe it was Nick / Apollo Optics who warned another user of the perils of buying even name brand products over Amazon. Some sellers on there will hawk returned items, they may or may not work and you’re basically stuck with them if they don’t. Amazon is getting to be more and more like a mid eastern bazaar of goods where you never quite know what to expect when you open the box. It’s getting harder and harder to justify spending money there.

I buy my Raptor stuff from supporting vendors here if possible.

theres a specific sequence you have to do when installing the pedal commander. but as stated, there have been a few issues with compatability . while most users dont experience the problem, some trucks do for some strange reason

Electronics especially are so easy for the Chinese to make fakes of, and Amazon obviously doesn't give a shit about it. The site is so full of knock offs anymore, it's ridiculous. I'm seeing more and more companies with warnings on their sites about fake crap on Amazon, and several saying they will not warranty products sold on Amazon.

Had one on my 2017 taco with no issues for 4 years and almost bought one for the Raptor. Good to hear some feedback tho.
