Anyone else ever find it annoying that coin holder devices are always ordered by coin size rather than monetary value? Just feels wrong.

NO. Absolutely not. They are properly organized by size, which is more obvious by feel than monetary order. I mean, next you’ll be championing giving pennies more monetary value to increase their self esteem. Then the nickels and dimes are like ‘whoa there, buddy, you can’t just make pennies more valuable, that’s our thing’ Then the pennies get mad because the silver coins don’t like them. AND... did you notice there is no slot for the Susan B Anthony dollar coin? What’s up with that Ford? Got something against women?

So I’m thinking best to leave coin organization alone, lest we have a full on coin uprising.

Not a problem as such gents - just keen to get everyone’s take on the best storage solution for stopping stuff rolling around everywhere in the armrest storage space given it’s so huge.

You have to keep a minimum of “stuff” in the console. I keep some recovery stuff - one of the straps, deflators, plus the usual stuff - gorilla tape, gloves, zip ties, ski mask ( H/T @Oldfart ) That way when you score a new bottle of bourbon there’s plenty to keep it from bouncing around in the storage compartment, even on enthusiastic drives.

Was thinking about a small pelican case or similar to keep things tight and organised in there and easy to pull if required?

I know there’s organisers you can slot in to keep coins, pens etc together but I’m thinking something that’ll hold flashlights, D shackles, small roll of gorilla tape etc without them all clunking around in there, without getting in the way of the included storage tray up top.

Anyone rolling with a good solution already?
I use one of these, they set inside nicely and can hold the little things that otherwise would just sit there rolling around. It’s a Sterilite Mini Milk crate

I agree with Mike T and Martin Brand

1) I haven’t used a coin for a single thing in years!

2) Just put enough stuff in there to hold it all in place. I have a murse (man purse) with a Glock 23 (with two extra mags) a bag of rubber gloves and face masks, some multi tools, multi-screw drivers, etc, a canister of gum, two baseball caps, and a few other random items. They all stay nice and neat by holding each other in place. Nothing moves except that damn removable tray that slides from time to time (with “enthusiastic driving” as Martin put it). I keep meaning to just add so
E friction on the rails with some electrical tape or something similar...just keep forgetting. Martin...I love the stuff you keep too!!

Check out the Pelican Trekpak system. I intially bought it for my wife's Expedition and liked it so much I bought one for the Raptor. The first one was the Trekpak 1400 which requires no modification and fits reasonably well. Once i figured out the system and its potential, I ordered a Trekpak 1500 for the Raptor, that I was able to slightly modify for a perfect fit. Both are completely adjustable and can be set up for whatever you want to store. For the Raptor, I also bought some Kaizen foam to shadow my Fenix TK47 on the passenger side of the console. I'm out of town right now without the truck, but I'll take some pictures Monday.

The Trekpak 1500 looks like a great possibility.

Would really like to see your pix.
