I was in 4A yesterday I was towing my side by side and during some twisty up and down hill roads, I got the 4x4 temporarily locked.
It then switched to 4H for less than a minute before giving me the 4x4 restored message.

I was on tarmac - wouldn't 4H harm the drive train?

From the manual:

4x4 Temporarily Locked
Displays when the 4X4 system temporarily turns on
4H from 4A after detecting driving conditions that
require greater 4X4 performance. The system automatically
returns to 4A after the system no longer detects
these driving conditions.

4x4 Restored
Displays when the 4X4 system restores to the 4A
setting.

It sounds like the truck detected a bunch of slip and locked you in 4h. How was your tow setup, was your truck sagging in the rear?

Hi smurfy

Here's the funny bit

Going through the twisty bits on 4A was fine.

We reached
Unloaded our bikes and buggies and played around.
Four hours later, loaded everything back and within two minutes of the twisted got the warning.

I imagine I'd have gotten the warning while driving into the twisties - when I was already driving on flats for two hours and then entered the twisties.
Meaning the raptor was tired and heated up.

Not to get the message after the raptor was off for a solid four hours.

And upon returning, I was driving conservatively as I did on the way.

I wasn't smashing it on the way back.

My tow setup looks okay to me.
Here's a photograph.

That looks like the front is pretty extended, if you were watching the power distribution display, the Rap was probably sending power to the front and not getting good grip.

you’re probably fine
