Because. My Raptor in all its glory.... Is still basically an F150. Plasticky interior and all.

I was really hoping the Gen3 interiors would be a bit better. I was underwhelmed. And disappointed.
Did you ever own a Gen 1? To me the interiors are made of the same plastic as the gen 2's but the Gen 2's are a much better interior, I would expect the Gen 3 to be a step up as well. Just sayin' and I'm no troll :p

I sat in a 2021 F-150 Platinum... if you don't see the difference/upgrade of the interior between Gen 14 and 13, then you're simply trolling. Gen 14 is a big step up on the interior and tech.

My wife has 2500 Ram Limited, if I feel like being in a nice interior I'll drive that to the office. Otherwise I get more enjoyment out of driving my Raptor.

And there in lies the problem.... Why not can't Ford use the upgrade interiors? Especially for the Raptor. Well seeing a few weeks!

I should not have to look to my wife's Ram to enjoy higher end touchpoints and interior experience.

I rented a Lincoln Aviator. That interior felt pretty nice. We know They can do it.

Raptor should at least get the Platinum interior treatment. With sport performance in mind.

I maybe in the minority, but the interior in the current Raptor is perfectly ok for me.

If anything, I miss the hooks under the rear seat that my 2010 F-150 had. They were very useful for hanging bags and keeping stuff from rolling around.

One of my good friends picked up a 2021 Lariat the other day. I feel the opposite of you about the interior. Exterior changes are meh, but the inside is much better. Less plasticky, more premium looking materials. The flow is better and the huge screen and cluster seem to take up 1/3 of the whole dash. It's more of a console look IMO.
