It would be awesome to have a V8 in a Raptor but I love my Gen2 as it has plenty of power for me in stock form. May get a tune down the road, not really sure as I have an 8/125k mile warranty.

Also, mine is paid off so that is definitely nice with no payments.

Personally I found the stock power lacking. The extra 20% ish from a COBB tune feels like "enough." I probably have about 530hp and 600ftlbs at the crank now and it could use more if you ask me.

The “R” would sound legit for having a second upgraded performance model. I am just wondering how much improved the regular Raptor would be if a Gen 2 owner wanted to upgrade to it.

The interior of the new F150 is a huge step from current non 802a trucks and a little nicer than 802a. The Powerboost could also come with the onboard generator and the coil rear suspension is an upgrade. The leaked CAD designs show it will look pretty similar.

I would call it "upgrade when it's time," but don't see gen2 owners running to dealerships to pay a $10K ADM year one. If there is no scab that would really drive up used scab prices imo.

The R if it exists to me would be supercrew only for bigger gas tank (and 95% of raptor are screw), every expensive option standard, maybe 37s as an add on (doubt it though). $90K+ MSRP and you won't be able to get one under $120K unless the dealer is banging your wife.

Y’all complaining about it not having enough power are either in the wrong gear, or have oversized tires.
