Can't wait to see how much I can't afford a new Raptor R!

Yup. This. I'll be happy with a PowerBoost option that's more potent than the Gen 2. If they offer the EcoBoost and a PowerBoost I'd spend the extra for PowerBoost. I bet the R only comes loaded and more loaded and will start in the 90s and option over 100k. If there's a PowerBoost it'll probably start high 60s and option to 80-85k. That'll be the way I go. I could see them offering the EcoBoost as a base engine with a few more horses to keep the starting MSRP around 55k.

All of them will have a $15k markup in this market, so I'll wait a year or so.

Have you looked at specs? How does the suspension compare?

Just that we know Ford's Gen 2 now has arguably better shocks compared to the smaller Bilsteins on the TRX. I'm sure they're not going backwards there. Ford is also following Ram with rear coil springs in the Gen 3 Raptor. The Raptor will be more expensive though imo, they always are.

37" option for the Raptor R if true would be awesome!

If there is in fact a Raptor R I'm guessing it's going to have a whole range of feature and appearance upgrades over the "standard" Raptor. They'll want it to not only have the performance edge but look like the craziest truck on the road.

It would be awesome to have a V8 in a Raptor but I love my Gen2 as it has plenty of power for me in stock form. May get a tune down the road, not really sure as I have an 8/125k mile warranty.

Also, mine is paid off so that is definitely nice with no payments.
