GooseTuned stage 2! CVF Intercooler and TurboSmart BOV should arrive tomorrow!
Winfield is a pleasure to work with!

Almost exactly the same setup I have waiting to go on in the next week or two. Cobb FMIC is the only difference. Can’t wait!

Installed my Cobb coolant overflow cover. The first one I received the finish was chipped, so they sent a replacement. A+ customer service from Cobb.

Installed CVF intercooler and TurboSmart Vee Port EM blow off valve. Intercooler was a bitch to install by myself, but I got it done. Took it for a drive around the block and as soon as I hit around 10psi of boost blew off one of the hoses. Back to the house to reseat and tighten and took another lap around the block. All seems good now. Data log tomorrow and get her dialed in.

I had the exact same thing happen, blew off a hose. You really gotta make sure they are lined up properly and tightened down lol

I was looking at the Turbosmart BOV but not sure what the real benefit of it would be. Did you get it for the noise? Did they fix the sticking issues?

Had the same with the COBB, a trick I was told about was to spray some non-chlorinated brake cleaner on the hose ends and wipe off the excess silicone lubricant left over from the molding during manufacturing. Scared the shit out of me as it was a huge pop when it happened.

I got it mostly for the sound. I realize I could have just vented the stock BOV to atmosphere, but figured what the hell, I was going to be replacing the intercooler anyway, so why not. I am not aware of the sticking issues you are referring to, so I don't know if they fixed it or not.
