Tailgate help!!!!

Hi guy,

My 19 Raptor doesn't have the step (I overlooked it when order the damn truck before). Anyways, I bought a used tailgate with step and applique but doesn't have the handle or release (internal lock, latch release etc). I thought it's simple as just use my parts and swap over. However the internal of the tailgate without the Step is different with the one with the step...

Can you guys please help by pointing out what do I need to make it work? Thanks in advance

well since no one reply, I actually took it to the dealer, ask the part guy there..Turn out, I only need 2 small metal rod that connect to the actuator of the handle. Then torsion rod for the tailgate to counter the weight of the lift gate with steps (these are much heavier than the normal tailgate.) .. too lazy to do the write up but it took me about 3 hrs to complete the swap.

Was it worth it? I got the step thinking that I would like it and I didn't.

Its the best $350 I spent on my tailgate step!

That tailgate step is great for sure.
