Yes they had a 15k addendum on window! Heard the manager tell him the best the owner would let him do was 10k over because that was the last NEW RAPTOR HE HAD

All bets are off right now. Whatever you're used to for haggling, avoiding markups, etc is not currently a thing. Supply is so low that there's a buyer at almost any price. Essentially if a dealer has a new Raptor the question is just "what's the most anyone will pay for this before it starts burning a hole in my pocket?" At $10k over MSRP it's going to sell anywhere because you don't have the options to go get one cheaper and there's probably another guy waiting to buy it if you don't. Similar story with used.

Not even Raptors. I hadn't purchased a vehicle in a long time, and I couldn't get the Lincoln dealer to budge more thank $3k off my wife's car. Better than nothing, I suppose.

$50K OTD after trade-in for a Ford Certified LFG 2018, 61k miles, looks clean. In today's budget. Only "bad" about it would be the lack of actual paint mileage.

I fixed it for you ;)

I’m not a brand loyalist as such, but I just won’t pay over MSRP. If I were shopping for an off road truck right now, I’d be driven to the TRX by stupidity like the above. I briefly tried to use my bank buying service to land a Rap in 2017, but the stealership refused to honor the negotiated price. I did exactly that, found my truck, more optioned, no mark up and I was damn glad to let the offending dealer know about my new truck. Did they sell their $10k markup trucks? sure, eventually, but did they get 10k over? I’ll bet not.

Now, are there stealerships that get away with it? Yes, there are some in heavy urban areas, and fools and their money will continue to go there. I won’t.

Welp, the dealer with the LFG is backpedaling on his deal. Seems like a stupid young kid anyhow. Raptor has been sitting for almost 2 months.

If I'm going to get pushed into $54k for a truck with 61k miles, I am going back to the ooooold plan A. Lightning blue with 39k, certified at a very reputable Ford Dealer, $59.9k.

I got my ‘17 in July with 57k miles. Lifted, wheels with Bedliner. All options. $49k plus tt&l. I only got him down $500 from what they were asking. Cash deal.

My stalking skills tell me you are in prosper. The dealer that backpedaled was rockwall Ford. Grand Prairie has a bunch of kids that can’t get their act together with the filthy silver raptor.

Trying to see what I can work with a dealership down in Houston right now. Same place I bought my wife’s navigator earlier this month. We’ll see how this goes
