Frame reinforcement does less than you think it does. The biggest contribution to impact mitigation is always suspension. A "mid travel lite" truck like the Raptor has a lot more time to absorb impact force compared to a standard 1/2 ton. You'll also see stock frame '98 reg cab rangers with beams huck jumps that were only possible on bikes before side by sides came along.

Slap some big boy resis on it with a great UCA and you'll be a lot more capable than you think. The "mid travel lite" 1/2 ton isn't a special or new concept, Ford was just ballsy enough to give you all of this with a warranty.

you might take off just fine, but the truck will bottom out really hard on landing.

I'd be more concerned with your spine.

The truck's suspension will bottom out, then the seat cushion will bottom out and you'll more than likely compress your spine.

At least that's what my C5 vertebrae told me when I sent a tacoma with upgraded bilsteins and 33s about 8 feet in the air over a train crossing "by accident" in my late 20s.

If you do like Ram's and love jumping them TRX is your answer.

Lmao that looked to be about 30 feet to flat. I wouldn't advise doing that in anything with less than 2 feet of travel...

Great huck though!
