This is my first “winter” with mine and I’ve noticed the steering wheel is warm but the seat seems normal. Maybe it is warm. It never seems like my seat is cool in summer unless I leave it for a while, which could be the a/c hitting it or it’s just too hot in Florida for it to work quickly. Having the lights on must be a newer model thing.
Unless you have a 2017, the seats don’t cool, they just use a fan to ventilate. In 2017 they had a thermoelectric cooler. After that it’s just a fan that pushes the cabin air through the seat.

with my 17 I have remote start climate settings on automatic. I believe its a setting in the gauge cluster but i haven't really messed with it since I got the truck. It determines the climate settings based on outside temperature. I don't have to set anything.

I do have a ‘17. I usually just the term interchangeably. Also I think they changed that mid-year. I’m not sure which mine are. Either way, I think perhaps it was one when I remote started today, but it was also cool outside so it was hard to tell.

I noticed that the seats don’t feel really warm until you’re sitting on them. The heater doesn’t really warm the leather up until your weight is on them.

Yeah, the seats in my Z were similar. Passengers left the switches on but they never felt super warm when I noticed on my next drive. I always thought maybe there was a weight switch like the airbag ones.
