I should have said it's just a truck, nothing special and I'd gladly trade or sell it for a much higher price than I paid, and I wish there was another supercab with a 5 1/2 foot bed to buy that didn't suck.


really it's just about taking advantage of higher used prices in the market right now and getting something brand new

Supercab Raptor is 220"

So no...nobody else makes a new full size supercab style truck with 5.5' bed. A Jeep Gladiator is 218"



They are although technically the supercrew is 231.9" (same as 2020 F150) and 2021+ F150s are 231.7"

Just going to call out, the generalization made about El Camino owners is a racist comment and shouldn't be tolerated here.

I recommend caution when considering the Ranger. I was in the showroom of my local Ford dealership a month or so ago and had the opportunity to look the new Ranger over very thoroughly. Aside from the EB-type power plant, I noticed something that took even a salesman by surprise. I had the hood up and actually crawled under the truck, and of course the salesman was interested in helping me. I asked him where the oil filter was, because after a rather comprehensive search for the thing I couldn't find it. He looked under the hood himself, couldn't find it either, and then took out his phone. I don't know what kind of ap he used, but in a few minutes he said, "It's in here," and stooped down to look past the driver-side front tire into the wheel well. We looked and looked, and finally we were able to barely see a hint of an oil filter. No way to get a hand or a tool on it without pulling the front left tire and pulling the plastic pins that secure the rubber wheel well liner. If you think that jacking up a 4x4 truck and pulling a front tire to change the motor oil is indicative of a good design, the Ranger is just the truck for you!
