Front end clunk

Ok so I have had this front end clunk/ pop for about 2 months now and it is driving me nuts. It happens most noticeably at slow speeds turning in or out of the driveway, turning in/ out of a parking spot, or coming to a stop if I hit the brakes hard right before I stop. I have the eibach springs with no issues for almost 2 years now.

I scoured the forum and found guys successfully fixing their clunk by replacing their sway end links, I did that it’s still there. Found other posts talking about retorquing the front shock lca bolt, I just got back from a local off road shop and they retorqued that bolt along with the rest of the bolts on my front suspension and it’s still there. They used some sound detector and says it sounds like it is coming from the lca, they suggest changing out the lca ball joint to start with.

Has anyone else had this clunk/pop? Has anyone had to change their ball joints yet?

Have you considered getting the tires off the ground and testing for wheel runout?

I couldn’t figure it out so ended up taking it to the dealer. Just picked it up yesterday and they said the tech found a loose nut, they tightened it as well as retorqued all the front and rear suspension, and the clunk is gone. I have no idea which one it was but it’s gone and the dealer didn’t charge me, so whatever I’m happy now.

Would you happen to have a video? Mine is in the shop for 3 small leaks, seat heaters and a rattling/clunk noise from the front left side that is persistent especially at slower neighborhood cruising speeds. I have a few videos. I was also guessing sway bar links or IWE Check Valve but was thinking it could simply be a loose nut or bolt lol.

I had a right front clunk for 70k miles. Finally figured it out. It was the top strut bracket. It was wallowed out where the shock shaft goes thru it

Had a similar clunking sound, after taking off the skid plates, checking all the heat shields etc, got out the GoPro and set it up to record the front-end area.
What I found was the LCA bushings had up to 1/2" play in them upon acceleration!
Ford doesn't sell replace bushings, they want you to buy a new LCA, MOOG makes ones that will fit with some minor adjustments.
