i have certainly put my truck through much more than the average raptor owner. im not complaining one bit about the longevity of this part. even more reason to stick with oem since aftermarket ones are hit and miss with fitment

I just replaced my lower ball joints with Moogs today.

The sound my truck was making was more of a metal grinding squeaking sound in addition to the clunking... well all the sounds are gone and the truck feels amazing again.

After 8 months of listening to the clunk , I convinced my dealer that it was real . This morning they installed new sway bar end links .Noise gone !! I think I'll keep it (2018 SCAB
with 23000 miles ) Especially with no Scabs on the Horizon.

Today I installed new sway a ways, while doing it I found a bad upper control arm ball joint. Definitely the new noise I was hearing. They only had 20 k of street driving on them. I replaced them back on like page seven of this topic. These trucks eat uppers. Ive been thru this front end so many times. Bye bye leaky ass Fox 2.5's.

How do the Sway Aways ride? I think I remember seeing they had a higher spring rate than Fox or Icon, similar to King.

They ride like a new F250. Firm but with a soft edge. Definitely firmer than stock. Yes I believe the spring rate is higher. 550 stock vs 660 I think. I have the compression adjusters all the way soft. I'll mess around with them when I get some time and a nice day. They gave exactly 2" of front lift leaving me with about an inch of rake which is exactly how I had hoped they would sit. No noise, no clunking, frt end is nice and tight.

Good to hear a happy Sway-Away customer, just got Fox 3.0's and the clunk and ride is much worse on the road, maybe i'll consider a set of these. BTW, consider a set of ICON/Deavers for the rear leafs, biggest upgrade I've ever done to the rappy, softer ride and slight extra lift in the rear.

If you just installed new coilovers and your suspension noise got worse the problem is not the coilovers. Putting another new set of coilovers on is just throwing money at it.

Since its riding poorly check your strut mount plates (hats), make sure everything is tight to spec. Look for cracks in the sway bar bushings, pull one end of the end links and give them a good wiggle feeling for play. Jack up a corner at a time and check, ball joints, TREs, and for anything that is loose and might be bouncing against the fenders. Also check to make sure your door checks aren't broken.

If I have access to a 4 post lift, would I use that or is there a method/reason to jacking only 1 section up at a time?
