I'm 6'4" and can't figure out with all the room in the rear, why Ford didn't make it so the front seats could go back farther. You can always move them up! That being said, any way to move/relocate/mod the driver seat so that I can get it to go back farther and get more leg room up front? I saw another post where there was a type of relocate kit for the rear seat. Wondered if anything similar existed for the front seat. Thanks

Yes, but it's also more than distance to the pedals. It's also about space in general to stretch out on long drives when you're using cruise and just being able to have more space to move around.

I'm surprised. I have a 2020 802A with the Recarro's. I'm 6'3" with a 35" inseam and I am not even all the way back! I actually could go back quite a bit farther than where I am. I wonder if you're not getting full travel on your seat track?

LMI is the company that makes nice rear seat relocating brackets and they don't make anything for the front. https://www.lmiwelding.com/kits_supercab.htm

Did something drastically change in the Gen 2? I have more than enough space in my Gen 1 and I'm the same height. I'm pretty sure I can still move my seat back farther.

At 6'8" I'm surprised to see this post (I still laugh at the picture of me when I bought the truck, and I'm taller than the truck). I'm still very surprised at the amount of leg room in the truck. I'm also thrilled that the truck has the telescoping steering wheel (although at times I actually wish it came out further). I'm not sure what package your truck has (mine is the 2A), and here's how I have my seat set:
  • Seat all the way back
  • Seat raised as much as possible
  • Butt portion of seat lowered all the way
  • Front of seat by legs raised all the way up
Not sure if that makes any sense or helps at all.

At 6'3" I have room to burn in my Gen 2, that's one of the things I loved about it when I first test drove one. It's one of the very few vehicles I don't have to max out the seat adjustments to be comfortable.

Gen 2 is actually larger than Gen 1.

I would be very Leary about relocating any seats with air bags on them. There are numerous testing done at the factory for safety concerns in case of an accident. Seat belt, air bags and position of the seat are all major factors in an accident. Compare your seat with another raptor just to make sure that something isn't jammed in the track. If you don't know anybody close by with a raptor, find one on a lot and try out the seating on that one.
