Does it say raptors with 6.5 ft beds?

I dunno if you bought some special truck, but mine came with a 5.5ft bed.

While it would be convenient, a pair of 5 gallon dump cans costs under $100 including a couple ratchet straps. paying 2 grand for a tank that holds 9 gallons more than the factory tank seems a bit ridiculous.

you could also get a spare tire location 30 gal transfer tank. and/or the 15 gal ones that fit into the sides of the bed for a lot less money.

I am all for buying expensive parts.... but 2k+ to get another 100-150 miles of range depending on driving conditions? Don't see the value in that. There is also still the big IF it even fits properly and doesn't compromise the truck off road

Haven't seen them in fords before but they work well in my friends tundras that have them but they also gained like 23 gallons over the stock tank. The only real downside is on the tundras they hang below the frame.

9 more gallons - just get a couple of 5 gallon gas cans for less than $50. Send me $500 and you’re still ahead of what you would have spent. You can PM me to get Venmo details.

Have you guys even tried to put fuel in to the tank? It's a pain in the ass with that stupid no cap fuel system.

I just use the included white plastic funnel with the sceptre military fuel cans that have a long clear flex hose and sit the jerry upside down on the bedrail and it works a treat.mfc_spouts_adaptors_scpeter__04656-clearhose.jpg mfc_canisters_specter_05552_20l_fuel_gr2.jpg

I do it all the time.

5 gallon VP dump can with the quick fill hose. Literally goes into the tank as fast as gravity will allow.

no need for the plastic filler adapter either. The hose on the VP can is just about identical in size to the adapter that comes with the truck.

Which hose do you use? VP has a few different options.
