Hello

I have the ORA550 pack. My SCT BDX was in the glove compartment and it was stolen during a recent break-in. My stock tune was on it. I will buy another tuner and ORA should provide me with another tune for it but i don't know how to get my stock tune back as it was only in the stolen tuner not backed up anywhere else.

Any help is appreciated.

get another tuner and give SCT a call with your strategy code, they may have a tune to force on your truck if youre trying to go back to stock or if you backed up your stock tune to a laptop you can recover.

Maybe there is a chance that whoever wrote your tune may have a copy of the stock tune in their files or be able to provide you with a stock tune that may be close to your original.
I guess the worst case would be having a dealer download the stock tune and install it??
Definitely a interesting question

Good question for FordTechOne regarding going to a dealer, maybe PM him

Just have the dealer flash it. Should rewrite the tune back to stock. Then install the new tuner. If you had any thoughts about a different tuner nows your chance

If you know the serial number of the SCT BDX, call the mfg, report it stolen, as it can only be unlocked by them for the VIN number of your vehicle. That way the thieves will get no value of the tuner. Have Ford flash the stock tune on the tuner, then whom ever did the tune put their tune on the tuner. My discussion with SCT is that you don't want to piggy back tunes. For what its worth,
