Pedal Commander

Super new, here and with a Raptor in general...less than 24hrs. But what is the thought on these? They get great reviews, but I've really only seen their website, and those can be skewed to favor them.

It really improves the throttle response and makes the Raptor more fun to drive. I’ve had mine installed on my past three (3) Raptors and don’t regret it a bit. If you plan to tune your Raptor...I’d recommend you not pursue purchasing a PC.

really no issues with the gen1 and pedal commander. some gen 2 guys have had issues

I currently have one on Gen 1 and had one on my previous Gen 2. I had it installed on the Gen 2 for two years without issues but as mentioned, others have had issues. All good on the Gen 1 too. I am looking to ditch it once I get a new tune (JDM). Good luck.

Get a Tune first from JDM, then reevaluate if you want the PC.

I have had one in my truck for over 4 years now with no problems. I run a 5 star performance tune, and use the pedal commander with it when I’m in soft sand to liven up off road mode and to put it immediately into the power band.

Oops! I didn't realize I wandered into the Gen 1 section. First mistake I made this year!

It was great on my truck for 6 months until it confused my transmission and now truck shifts terribly. Waiting on parts from Ford for about 3 weeks now to make it right again.
Gen 1 2014 with 74,*** miles.

like others have said, if your thinking of a tune down the line, don’t bother with Pedal Commander now.
