It’s really cool! It’s nice backing up into parking spots and you don’t have to adjust your mirrors.

not plug and play and maybe not compatible with 802A package!! buyers beware. I installed my passenger side. then went to install drivers side. Different connectors and i think my drivers side has self dimming?

EDIT: need to cut wire for auto dimming to pick it from the plug for use.

Well F***, I just ran into the same issue with my drivers side install. So which wires get connected? I have Black and Brown that are soldered to the mirror and Green and Violet that have connectors. I don't know which ones are Defrost and which ones are Auto Dim.

I'm thinking that the Black and Brown wires that are soldered on the back of mirror are the Auto-Dim wires, and the Green and Voilet are the heating function (as the heating function on the passenger side had connectors). If I right, it appears we have to cut the Black and Brown from the stock mirror wire harness to use on the new mirror.

Guess the heating function is not polarity dependent, as the new mirrors are not marked.

The turn signal connectors on the new mirror are Black wire ground (connects to White wire that plugs into the stock mirror turn signal) and Black/White stripe is positive (connects to Green wire on stock mirror turn signal).

installing on 2018 802A

installed mine, love it! cracked my passenger side one, so ordered a replacement

glass is much thinner, view is much improved. be careful pressing them in or removing them.
