S8 Lighting Help

What is the best ground location of the 2 locations in the picture? I saw a video that was using the bolt to the left of the upfitter wires (circle on the right) but it doesn’t look like it goes to the frame. I am use to the ground looking like the circle on the left.

I used the one on the left in your picture to ground a wire harness for 6 BD lights.

Left on the fender. That's an OEM ground and will work for all AUX switches. That's where we do all of our grounds.

Is it wrong to use the ones on the firewall?

if its a factory ground point, then no, its not wrong to use.

Before I saw everyone's response, I went ahead and hooked it up to the firewall bolt next to the up fitter wires. Does the fact that it is working indicate it is a ground or am I ******** something up by using it. Thanks, I just assumed that's the one to use for the upfitters.

Nope any of those will work. All of my lights are grounded to those bolts actually on my truck. It bolts to metal so it's a fine ground to use
